Planter with a base or bottomless planting bed?
When choosing a large outdoor planter, compare soil volume, drainage and filled weight. For a terrace, check whether the planter has a base and whether the supporting surface is suitable. A bottomless planter, such as Gaïa or Rhéa, sits on soil so roots can reach the ground. A rectangular shape can frame a hedge or define a space; size depends on the plants and their growth.
