Orders and payment

Sales may concern standard catalogue pieces or bespoke products. Prices shown on the site include delivery. They include any applicable VAT and, for deliveries to Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Norway, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, customs duties and import taxes. For deliveries to the United States, US customs duties and import taxes are not included in the price: they are payable by the customer on delivery. In every other case, no further amount is payable by the customer on delivery; should a carrier nevertheless ask for such an amount, CORTENYS will refund it on presentation of the receipt.

Payment is made securely online through Stripe. The payment methods available for your order are those shown at the payment step. Klarna instalments are only available where they are offered at that step, subject to eligibility.

Delivery and manufacturing

We deliver to metropolitan France (including Corsica), Monaco, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, Norway, the United States, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.

Delivery is free for orders placed on the site.

We deliver standard pieces, including Cortenys Editions, in 6 to 12 weeks after order confirmation. For bespoke pieces, we allow 8 to 13 weeks, with the schedule stated in the quotation. We deliver pieces ready to install; we do not provide on-site installation.

Withdrawal and returns

Consumer customers have 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, where this right applies.

Return costs related to the exercise of the right of withdrawal are covered by CORTENYS.

For deliveries to Monaco, Switzerland, the United States, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, CORTENYS grants the same 14-day right of withdrawal, on the same terms, free return included.

The consumer-law exception to the right of withdrawal covers only two cases: pieces designed to dimensions specific to one project, outside the sizes and finishes offered in the catalogue; and pieces personalised with an engraving whose content the customer supplies (a name, number or text), such as engraved letterboxes. These pieces are identified as such on their product page before the order. Every other catalogue piece remains covered by the right of withdrawal, even when made after the order, whatever size and colour were chosen among the options offered. Orders for engraved pieces placed before 2026-10-09 remain covered, on the terms published on the date of the order. Withdrawal and cancellation are exercised directly online, on the Withdraw from your contract page, without creating an account.

Legal warranties and complaints

Products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for 2 years from delivery of the goods, as well as the legal warranty against hidden defects, in accordance with applicable legal provisions.

CORTENYS further guarantees each piece for two years from delivery against any defect in workmanship or assembly. This commercial guarantee applies without prejudice to statutory warranties. It does not cover the natural evolution of the patina, normal wear, impacts, or damage resulting from installation, use or care that does not follow the House's recommendations.

Mediation

If an unresolved consumer dispute arises after contacting CORTENYS, the consumer may use the CM2C consumer mediation service free of charge.
