The spirit of the collection
Five designs make up the family: Alban, a square fountain with a central jet; Elio, a cylinder with a living spring; Nereida, a two-tier cascade; Léandre, a vertical water wall; Célestin, a water blade mounted high on a wall. Crafted from solid 3 mm aluminum, 3 to 4 mm for Nereida, robust and dimensionally stable, they are powder-coated under a protective varnish, in black RAL 9005 at 30% gloss or in one of our eight RAL colors; all are delivered with their pump and light up at night with their integrated LED. Designed in France and crafted in Europe to order, these designer outdoor water features make water the center of the garden.

Aluminum garden fountains with a central jet: Alban and Elio
Alban is a square fountain 600 mm on each side and 700 mm high, weighing 22.8 kg: at the center of its top, a spring bubbles up, then the water spreads into a thin sheet, reaches the edges, glides down the sides and returns to the concealed reservoir. Elio takes up the same movement in concentric circles at the top of a cylinder, in three sizes: 1000 mm in diameter for a height of 400 or 700 mm, and 1200 mm in diameter for a height of 700 mm. On both, the high-performance submersible pump, the stainless steel nozzle and the integrated LED lighting come as standard: the fountain is ready to come alive as soon as it is filled.

Aluminum cascade fountain: Nereida, water in two stages
Nereida unfolds a two-tier cascade. At the top, a wide blade flows in a smooth veil into a first basin; the water then crosses a second threshold and falls into the lower basin. The sound is full and enveloping, and after dark the LED set into the upper blade lights the main fall. It is 2200 mm long and 1300 mm high, and weighs 112.8 kg. Submersible pump, closed-loop circuit and LED are included: Nereida is delivered complete, ready to run.

Aluminum water wall and water blade: Léandre and Célestin
Léandre, an aluminum water wall, raises a vertical panel down which a wide sheet of water glides in one piece: ten sizes, from 1000 to 3000 mm wide and from 1200 to 1600 mm high. Célestin, an aluminum water blade, is mounted high on an existing wall and unfurls a veil of water down its face: eight sizes, from 1000 to 3000 mm wide, 600 or 1000 mm high. Like Alban, Elio and Nereida, they are delivered with their pump and LED lighting: the pump keeps the water flowing, and the integrated LED makes the curtain of water shine at night. Both are supplied without a receiving basin: an existing swimming pool, a reflecting pool or a landscaped pond, the setting is chosen to suit your project. An aluminum fountain made to live outdoors
Beneath their clean lines, our fountains hide an aluminum that resists corrosion and stands up to frost, rain and swings in temperature, season after season. The Cortenys signature powder coating, sealed with a varnish, gives them an ink black at 30% gloss, against which the water shines by contrast; other RAL shades can be studied on request. Right by the sea, or where a fountain spills into a swimming pool, the House steers you towards these pieces: they are the most serene choice. Salt calls for regular rinsing with fresh water.

Where to place an aluminum fountain
Choose the atmosphere first: the central jet of Alban or Elio makes a discreet murmur, a gentle backdrop to conversation; the Nereida cascade and the Léandre and Célestin water walls give a more present sound that enlivens a terrace. Then place the fountain where the view from the house will find it, on a stable, level base able to bear the piece filled with water, keeping access for maintenance. A position in half-shade limits evaporation and the growth of algae.

Which aluminum fountain should you choose?
Start with the scale of the space. For a terrace or a patio, Alban, a square fountain 600 mm on each side, or Elio, a round fountain 1000 or 1200 mm in diameter, creates a centered water feature. For a broader gesture, the Nereida cascade, 2200 mm long, gives the garden a direction. Against a wall, Léandre raises a vertical curtain of water and Célestin turns an existing wall into a suspended cascade, with the receiving basin of your choice.
Is an aluminum fountain supplied with its pump?
Yes, all five aluminum fountains are delivered with their pump and LED lighting. Alban and Elio come with their high-performance submersible pump, their stainless steel nozzle and their integrated LED; Nereida with its submersible pump, its LED and its closed-loop circuit, complete and ready to run; Léandre and Célestin with their pump and their integrated LED. These two pieces are supplied without a receiving basin: speak to the House before ordering, as the whole is composed around the setting you choose.
Does an aluminum fountain rust?
No. Aluminum does not rust, and our fountains resist corrosion. Their powder coating, sealed under a protective varnish, is designed to stand up to frost, rain and swings in temperature. That is why the House recommends them right by the sea as well as in contact with pool water.
Can an aluminum fountain stay outdoors in winter?
The structure, yes: the aluminum of our fountains stands up to frost and rain. The water and the pump, however, are vulnerable to frost. Before the first frosts, follow the model’s recommendations for draining and winterizing, then refill the fountain in spring. Switched off, it remains a sculpture at the heart of the garden.
What sound does an aluminum fountain make?
It all depends on the design. The bubbling central jet of Alban or Elio makes a discreet murmur; the two-tier cascade of Nereida gives a full, enveloping sound; the Léandre and Célestin water walls, a continuous rustle that softens the noise around them. Water is there to be seen, but first of all to be heard.
Which colors are available for an aluminum fountain?
They are shown in black RAL 9005 at 30% gloss, an ink black against which the water shines by contrast. They also come in white 9016, gray 7016, blue 5001, yellow 1005, green 6018, red 3020 and orange 2004, and other shades from the RAL palette are offered on request, to match the fountain to your architecture.
