The spirit of the collection
Ten designs make up the family: the square Cybèle, Thalie on legs, the bottomless Rhéa and Gaïa, the rectangular Déméter, Maïa with its compartments, the triangular Iris modules, and three pots, Daphné, Callisto and Clio. All are in powder-coated aluminium, shown in black RAL 9005 and offered in eight RAL colours, at 30% gloss, under a protective varnish. Robust, a stranger to rust and resistant to frost, the material stays light enough to follow the life of a garden. Designed in France and crafted in Europe to order, each piece arrives bare, ready to plant.

Aluminium planters: square, rectangular or on legs
Cybèle, a square planter, sets down a clean, deep volume in ten sizes, from 400 mm square to a large planter of 1400 mm, in heights from 400 to 800 mm. Thalie takes up the same square and lifts it on four corner legs: the silhouette turns airy, on a patio or beside a pool, in five sizes from 600 to 1400 mm square. Déméter, a rectangular aluminium planter, draws a line of 1200, 1500 or 2000 mm, 500 mm wide and 600 mm high, where bamboo and grasses rise into a living screen. Maïa, a large, low planter 800 or 1200 mm square, is divided into regular compartments where herbs, perennials and seasonal flowers live side by side. Iris, finally, is an isosceles right triangle in eight sizes, 300 or 500 mm high: alone, it slips into a corner; assembled, it forms squares, diamonds or friezes.

Bottomless aluminium planters: Rhéa and Gaïa, for open ground
Rhéa, square, and Gaïa, rectangular, have no base: set on soil or lawn, they frame the planting instead of enclosing it. The roots reach down into the natural ground, water drains away naturally, and bamboo and grasses anchor themselves deep. Rhéa takes up the ten sizes of Cybèle; Gaïa, the three lengths of Déméter, up to two metres. This bottomless planter marks out a bed, a border or a planting square with a clean outline, and is easily repositioned from one season to the next.

Aluminium pots for the terrace: Daphné, Callisto and Clio
Daphné is a square flared pot, narrow at the base and open to the sky, which lifts the blooms to eye level: four sizes, 500 and 600 mm square, up to 1200 mm high. Callisto, a round aluminium pot, is a pure cylinder in nine sizes, from 350 to 1200 mm in diameter and from 600 to 1000 mm high, from slender column to wide drum. Clio redraws the familiar silhouette of the garden pot with a fine line, in three sizes up to 800 mm high. Alone, a pot becomes the centrepiece of a terrace; in a pair, it frames an entrance; repeated, it sets the rhythm of a path like a colonnade.

The powder-coated aluminium of our planters
Cybèle, Thalie, Rhéa, Déméter, Gaïa, Iris, Daphné, Callisto and Clio are crafted from robust 3 mm aluminium that resists frost as well as corrosion. Each planter receives the House’s signature powder coating, sealed under a protective varnish: the black RAL 9005 shown, at 30% gloss, or one of the eight colours of the palette, from white 9016 to orange 2004. Size for size, it weighs less than steel; where stone, concrete or terracotta would stay put, the aluminium planter can be moved and follows the garden as it evolves.

An aluminium planter by the sea or the pool
Right on the coast, the House recommends its powder-coated aluminium pieces, which know nothing of rust; in contact with pool water, they are the most serene choice. A Thalie at the edge of the pool, a line of Déméter facing the sea spray, a pair of Callisto pots on a terrace looking out to sea: the planter finds its place wherever salt puts materials to the test. Rinse it regularly with fresh water, with no abrasive products, no wire brush and no pressure washer at close range.

Which aluminium planter should you choose?
Start with the planting and the setting. For a shrub or a composition with volume, Cybèle or Thalie; for a hedge or a screen, Déméter, or Gaïa if the roots must reach open ground; for a herb garden, Maïa and its compartments; for a corner or a geometric composition, Iris. The Daphné, Callisto and Clio pots showcase a single plant, alone or in a pair.
Does an aluminium planter rust?
No. Aluminium does not rust, and our planters also resist frost and corrosion. Their powder coating, sealed under a protective varnish, completes this resilience. That is why the House recommends them right on the coast.
What is a bottomless aluminium planter for?
Set directly on the soil, a bottomless planter lets the roots reach the natural ground and water drain away naturally: the planting volume is no longer limited by the container. Rhéa, square, and Gaïa, rectangular and up to two metres long, suit bamboo, grasses and structured beds, on soil or lawn.
Which colours are available for a powder-coated aluminium planter?
Eight RAL colours, at 30% gloss: white 9016, anthracite grey 7016, black 9005, blue 5001, yellow 1005, green 6018, red 3020 and orange 2004. Black, shown in our photographs, sets off the green of the foliage; anthracite grey goes with contemporary window frames; the bold shades turn the planter into an accent of colour. The colour is chosen in the configurator of each model.
Is an aluminium planter light?
Size for size, aluminium weighs less than steel, and less than stone, concrete or terracotta. The planter can be moved or repositioned when the garden is recomposed. Once filled with moist soil, however, it becomes considerably heavier: on a balcony or a roof terrace, check the permissible load of the surface before choosing the size.
Are aluminium planters delivered with their plants?
No. Each planter and each pot arrives bare, ready to plant. The planting in our photographs shows possible uses: grasses, bamboo, shrubs, herbs or seasonal blooms.
What lead time and guarantee for an aluminium planter?
Each planter is crafted in Europe to order, never taken from stock; the lead time is confirmed when you order, with free delivery to your door. Like every piece from the House, it is covered by the two-year Cortenys guarantee from delivery, which covers manufacture and assembly.
