Terms and conditions of sale

Terms applicable to orders placed on the Cortenys website, including manufacturing, delivery, withdrawal, return, and legal warranty terms.

Orders and payment

Sales may concern standard catalogue pieces or bespoke products. Prices displayed on the site include all taxes (TTC). For sales subject to French VAT at the standard rate, the applicable VAT rate is 20%.

Detected or announced payment methods at this stage are card payment, Apple Pay, and PayPal, subject to final technical confirmation on the site.

Delivery and manufacturing

Delivery is currently planned for France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar.

Delivery is free for orders placed on the site.

Manufacturing times are generally between 3 and 5 weeks from order and payment confirmation, unless otherwise stated to the customer before the order is placed.

Withdrawal and returns

Consumer customers have 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, where this right applies.

Return costs related to the exercise of the right of withdrawal are covered by CORTENYS.

The consumer-law exception to the right of withdrawal covers only pieces designed to dimensions specific to one project, outside the sizes and finishes offered in the catalogue. A catalogue piece remains covered by the right of withdrawal, even when made after the order, whatever size and colour were chosen among the options offered. Withdrawal and cancellation are exercised directly online, on the Withdraw from your contract page, without creating an account.

Legal warranties and complaints

Products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for 2 years from delivery of the goods, as well as the legal warranty against hidden defects, in accordance with applicable legal provisions.

CORTENYS further guarantees each piece for two years from delivery against any defect in workmanship or assembly. This commercial guarantee applies without prejudice to statutory warranties. It does not cover the natural evolution of the patina, normal wear, impacts, or damage resulting from installation, use or care that does not follow the House's recommendations.

Mediation

If an unresolved consumer dispute arises after contacting CORTENYS, the consumer may use the CM2C consumer mediation service free of charge.
