Bottomless aluminium planter
Rhéa, a bottomless aluminium planter with a powder-coated finish, draws a perfect square of greenery on the lawn or the soil. Its clean, deep volume rests directly on the ground; rather than containing the planting, it frames it, and its open base lets the roots plunge into the earth below. In a border, on a lawn or at the heart of a gravel garden, this aluminium frame lays down a bold geometry, a dark, graphic line around the planting. In a single stroke, the garden looks composed.
01 / Rhéa
The absence of a base is a deliberate choice: plants take root in the natural soil, water drains away freely, and bamboo and grasses grow deep, where a closed planter would have held them back. Set on soil or lawn, Rhéa marks out a bed, a border or a planting square with a perfect outline. Its robust 3 mm aluminium is designed to resist corrosion; it receives the Cortenys signature powder coating, sealed with a protective varnish, here in black RAL 9005 at 30% gloss. Lightweight, the aluminium planter is easy to handle and reposition.
02 / Rhéa
Designed in France, crafted in Europe and made for you to order, in ten sizes, Rhéa belongs to a kind of high-end outdoor furniture that leaves the leading role to the garden. The frame stays discreet and precise, giving the planting a structure that lasts for years. It is the kind of care a discerning eye recognises at once.
