Care
Our Corten steel pieces receive the Cortenys signature patina in the workshop, before delivery: they never reach you bare, left to weather at home. Indoors, a protective varnish is essential; even varnished, the steel can still mark a light or porous floor, so we recommend protecting it. For everything else, follow the care recommendations for your piece and its finish.

The Cortenys signature patina is applied in the workshop, before delivery, to every Corten steel piece. Where Corten usually takes months to acquire an uneven patina, your piece arrives already dressed in deep, controlled shades. Its appearance then evolves according to the chosen finish, exposure and local conditions. For care, follow the recommendations specific to your piece and its finish.

Taranis
Low Corten steel fire table
A bridge of Corten steel, with fire at one end.
Taranis is a fire table in Corten steel that Cortenys designed like a metal bridge. A long Corten steel top rests on two solid sides and opens a void beneath the table; the circular hearth is deliberately placed at one end, leaving the rest of the top free for setting down, serving and lingering.
01 / Taranis
The Corten steel of Taranis arrives finished in the Cortenys signature patina, a gradient of earth, amber and deep rust that differs from one table to the next. The offset hearth creates two zones, warmth on one side and table on the other, for an outdoor lounge that comes alive from dinner until the end of the evening. Three lengths are offered, crafted in Europe to order.
02 / Taranis
Taranis is made for evenings when you dine outside: the fire at one end, glasses and plates across the rest of the top. Moving a hearth off-centre means rethinking the whole balance of the piece; Cortenys did so, because a Corten steel fire table deserves to be designed as a table, not as an accessory.
The videos show a styled setting. The wood, kindling, charcoal and styling accessories are not included with the product.
