The Cortenys signature patina is created in the workshop before delivery. The Corten steel parts are then varnished to seal the patina and protect floors and contact surfaces from rust transfer. Follow the varnish care instructions to maintain this protection.

Pendant light
A suspended Corten steel polyhedron, cut with facets.
ASTRA is an indoor pendant light designed by the House of Cortenys. Folded and assembled steel planes form an irregular polyhedron, like a cut stone; hung at the end of a cable, the volume catches daylight on its facets and, in the evening, diffuses a brightness directed towards the table. Installed in pairs or in clusters, it composes a sky of facets above the meal.

Crafted in Corten steel and delivered with the signature Cortenys patina, in warm shades of earth, amber and deep rust, ASTRA develops on each facet reflections of its own: each plane takes on a different tone according to the angle and the hour. Three sizes are offered, to combine.

Alone, Astra is a volume; in a cluster, it becomes a sky of facets above the table.
