- Protective varnish
- Workshop-applied to Corten steel surfaces to seal the patina and enhance its depth. It greatly reduces rust marks on the wall without ruling them out: avoid a very pale or porous render and protect the floor below the wall light. Other materials retain their own finish.

Every piece is guaranteed for two years against manufacturing and assembly defects.
Care
Our Corten steel pieces receive the Cortenys signature patina in the workshop, before delivery: they never reach you bare, left to weather at home. Indoors, a protective varnish is essential; even varnished, the steel can still mark a light or porous floor, so we recommend protecting it. For everything else, follow the care recommendations for your piece and its finish.

Where Corten usually takes months to acquire an uneven patina, your piece arrives already dressed in deep, controlled shades. Its appearance then evolves according to the chosen finish, exposure and local conditions. For care, follow the recommendations specific to your piece and its finish.

Dièdre is a corner wall light in Corten steel, designed in France by Cortenys for a place that is rarely lit: the outer edge of a façade. Two pointed wings, folded to the angle of the wall, form a chevron that seems simply to rest on the corner of the building. Housed behind them, the light spreads across both faces at once and traces the corner like a pencil line.

This is where a different idea of outdoor lighting in Corten steel takes shape. The fold must fall exactly on the edge, both wings must hold the same tension, and the light must never give away its source. Crafted to order in Europe by a partner manufacturer, Dièdre is delivered with the Cortenys signature patina applied in the workshop: earth, amber and deep rust, with reflections unique to each piece, and a Corten surface that answers the light it shelters. Three wingspans are available.
