- Comes with the signature CORTENYS patina, which is of exceptional quality: each piece has its own unique shades, which deepen over the seasons with very little upkeep.
- Protective varnish
- Applied in the workshop over the Cortenys signature patina, the varnish sets it and deepens its tones with a subtle satin finish. It greatly reduces rust run-off but does not rule it out: protect the floor (small feet, spacers or a drip tray).

Made to order. Never held in stock. Every Corten steel piece enters production when your order is received, its signature patina brought to maturity by our artisans so it reaches you in perfect condition and in the depth of its most beautiful shades. Allow 6 to 12 weeks from order confirmation to delivery, which is complimentary. This creation time is the signature of the House.

Every piece is guaranteed for two years against manufacturing and assembly defects.
Care
Our Corten steel pieces receive the Cortenys signature patina in the workshop, before delivery: they never reach you bare, left to weather at home. Indoors, a protective varnish is essential; even varnished, the steel can still mark a light or porous floor, so we recommend protecting it. For everything else, follow the care recommendations for your piece and its finish.

The Cortenys signature patina is applied in the workshop, before delivery, to every Corten steel piece. Where Corten usually takes months to acquire an uneven patina, your piece arrives already dressed in deep, controlled shades. Its appearance then evolves according to the chosen finish, exposure and local conditions. For care, follow the recommendations specific to your piece and its finish.

Callisto
Round Corten steel pot
Corten steel in a single, unbroken curve.
This round Corten steel pot lifts the planting in a pure cylindrical column, without angle or edge, whose roundness softens the garden. Its warm patina serves as a setting for the planting: blooms spill over the rim and fall along a continuous flank in tones of rust and earth. Alone, it takes centre stage; gathered in a trio of different heights near an entrance, it composes a presence that is full, soft and warm. Light glides over the column without ever breaking on an edge; at dusk the cylinder becomes a warm, dark mass.
01 / Callisto
Made from 2 mm Corten steel, the column holds its curve with the regularity of a collector’s piece. Its cylindrical form brings softness where square planters draw lines, and attunes the terrace to the curves of the landscape. The Cortenys signature patina, applied in the workshop, spreads its earth and amber shades across it; every pot carries its own. If the pot is to stand beside a pale floor, an optional varnish fixes the patina and greatly reduces rust run-off, without ruling it out: protect the floor (small feet, spacers or a drip tray). This Corten pot is delivered empty, in many diameters and heights.

In the hands of Cortenys, Corten steel moves from the building site to the design collection. Designed in France, crafted in Europe and made to order, this round pot brings the material back to its essence: a cylinder, a patina, and nothing superfluous. Corten steel, in its simplest geometry. We deliver standard pieces, including Cortenys Editions, in 6 to 12 weeks after order confirmation. For bespoke pieces, we allow 8 to 13 weeks, with the schedule stated in the quotation.
