Material and patina
The Cortenys signature patina. Applied to the Corten steel in the workshop: your piece arrives patinated, ready to take its place in your setting.
- Material
- 2 mm Corten steel
- Cortenys signature patina, no varnish
- Supplied with the Cortenys signature patina: every piece has shades of its own, which deepen over the seasons with very little upkeep.
- Protective varnish
- Applied in the workshop over the Cortenys signature patina, the varnish sets it and deepens its tones with a subtle satin finish. It greatly reduces rust run-off but does not rule it out: protect the floor (small feet, spacers or a drip tray).
Delivery
Made to order. Never held in stock. Every Corten steel piece enters production when your order is received, its signature patina brought to maturity by our artisans so it reaches you in perfect condition and in the depth of its most beautiful shades. Allow 6 to 12 weeks from order confirmation to delivery, which is complimentary. This creation time is the signature of the House.
Returns and warranty
Fourteen days to change your mind, return at our expense.
Every piece is guaranteed for two years against manufacturing and assembly defects.
Care
Our Corten steel pieces receive the Cortenys signature patina in the workshop, before delivery: they never reach you bare, left to weather at home. Indoors, a protective varnish is essential; even varnished, the steel can still mark a light or porous floor, so we recommend protecting it. For everything else, follow the care recommendations for your piece and its finish.
Secure payment. No bank details ever pass through the House.

The Cortenys signature patina
The character of Corten steel. From day one.
The Cortenys signature patina is applied in the workshop, before delivery, to every Corten steel piece. Where Corten usually takes months to acquire an uneven patina, your piece arrives already dressed in deep, controlled shades. Its appearance then evolves according to the chosen finish, exposure and local conditions. For care, follow the recommendations specific to your piece and its finish.

Luminus
Corten steel bollard light
Luminus, the Corten steel bollard that outlines the garden by night.
Luminus is a bollard light in Corten steel, a slender upright column that reads by day as a vertical line set at the heart of the garden. As evening falls, a clean cut releases warm light directed towards the ground. Along a path, at the edge of a terrace or among the flower beds, it guides the way without glare and creates pools of light that give the garden its depth after dark. Its patina, with glints of rust, sienna and amber, echoes the colour of the light: metal and light speak the same language.
01 / Luminus
Where gardens usually make do with mass-produced bollards, Cortenys wanted a true piece of Corten steel outdoor design. Luminus is crafted from 2 mm Corten, sturdy and durable, and delivered with the Cortenys signature patina applied in the workshop: each piece shows nuances of its own. Its integrated warm LED lighting is designed for outdoor use and gives a soft light, without a harsh halo. As an option, the Cortenys protective varnish fixes the patina and greatly reduces rust run-off, without ruling it out: protect the floor (small feet, spacers or a drip tray) onto light-coloured floors, paving and terraces, where the bollard is often installed. Offered in three heights, it can stand alone or in a line.
02 / Luminus
For those who know that a garden is also judged after nightfall, Luminus makes Corten a common thread: present by day through its silhouette, precious by night through its glow. An outdoor light conceived as a collector’s piece, by a house that refuses to compromise.
