- Comes with the signature CORTENYS patina, which is of exceptional quality: each piece has its own unique shades, which deepen over the seasons with very little upkeep.
- Protective varnish
- Applied in the workshop over the Cortenys signature patina, the varnish sets it and deepens its tones with a subtle satin finish. It greatly reduces rust run-off but does not rule it out: protect the floor (small feet, spacers or a drip tray).

Made to order. Never held in stock. Every Corten steel piece enters production when your order is received, its signature patina brought to maturity by our artisans so it reaches you in perfect condition and in the depth of its most beautiful shades. Allow 6 to 12 weeks from order confirmation to delivery, which is complimentary. This creation time is the signature of the House.

Every piece is guaranteed for two years against manufacturing and assembly defects.
Care
Our Corten steel pieces receive the Cortenys signature patina in the workshop, before delivery: they never reach you bare, left to weather at home. Indoors, a protective varnish is essential; even varnished, the steel can still mark a light or porous floor, so we recommend protecting it. For everything else, follow the care recommendations for your piece and its finish.

The Cortenys signature patina is applied in the workshop, before delivery, to every Corten steel piece. Where Corten usually takes months to acquire an uneven patina, your piece arrives already dressed in deep, controlled shades. Its appearance then evolves according to the chosen finish, exposure and local conditions. For care, follow the recommendations specific to your piece and its finish.

Slim round Corten steel pot
A cone of Corten steel, drawn taut to the neck.
Slim and taut, this Corten steel pot draws a pure cone with smooth sides, flaring gently from the base to a wide opening. Its silhouette runs on without rim or break: flowers escape from the top and fall softly over a curved flank with glints of sienna and amber. Standing alone at the centre of a terrace or repeated at the entrance to the house, it brings a full, warm presence. In the late-afternoon sun the patina catches fire; after dark, the cone keeps the clarity of its line intact.
01 / Clio
Made from 2 mm Corten steel, it owes its finesse to a carefully controlled conical form: wider at the top than at the base, it lengthens the silhouette while giving it fine visual stability. Its signature patina, laid on in the workshop, is already there on delivery: shades of earth and amber particular to each piece. We offer an optional varnish that seals it and greatly reduces rust transfer, without ruling it out: on pale stone, a saucer or small feet remain advisable. This Corten pot, delivered empty and ready for your planting, comes in several diameters and heights.

The Corten steel pot has long been reduced to a rolled sheet; here Cortenys offers a version of rare rigour: not one superfluous rim, not one break in the line, nothing but the material and its patina. We deliver standard pieces, including Cortenys Editions, in 6 to 12 weeks after order confirmation. For bespoke pieces, we allow 8 to 13 weeks, with the schedule stated in the quotation.
