Material and patina
The Cortenys signature patina. Applied to the Corten steel in the workshop: your piece arrives patinated, ready to take its place in your setting.
- Material
- Corten steel
- Cortenys signature patina, no varnish
- Supplied with the Cortenys signature patina: every piece has shades of its own, which deepen over the seasons with very little upkeep.
- Protective varnish
- Applied in the workshop over the Cortenys signature patina, the varnish sets it and deepens its tones with a subtle satin finish. It greatly reduces rust run-off but does not rule it out: protect the floor (small feet, spacers or a drip tray).
Delivery
Made to order. Never held in stock. Every Corten steel piece enters production when your order is received, its signature patina brought to maturity by our artisans so it reaches you in perfect condition and in the depth of its most beautiful shades. Allow 6 to 12 weeks from order confirmation to delivery, which is complimentary. This creation time is the signature of the House.
Returns and warranty
Fourteen days to change your mind, return at our expense.
Every piece is guaranteed for two years against manufacturing and assembly defects.
Care
Our Corten steel pieces receive the Cortenys signature patina in the workshop, before delivery: they never reach you bare, left to weather at home. Indoors, a protective varnish is essential; even varnished, the steel can still mark a light or porous floor, so we recommend protecting it. For everything else, follow the care recommendations for your piece and its finish.
Secure payment. No bank details ever pass through the House.

The Cortenys signature patina
The character of Corten steel. From day one.
The Cortenys signature patina is applied in the workshop, before delivery, to every Corten steel piece. Where Corten usually takes months to acquire an uneven patina, your piece arrives already dressed in deep, controlled shades. Its appearance then evolves according to the chosen finish, exposure and local conditions. For care, follow the recommendations specific to your piece and its finish.

Corten steel fountain
Water that overflows, a patina that awakens.
At the heart of a crisp, generous cylinder, a spring rises in a lively surge: Elio is a Corten steel fountain that reads as a sculpture. The water covers the whole surface, reaches the upper rim, then overflows in a fine, even veil that glides all the way round before returning silently to the hidden reservoir. By day, this continuous flow makes the sides shimmer and fills the garden with a restful murmur; in the evening, the integrated LEDs light the jet and cast a halo of moving light over your outdoor space.
01 / Elio
Here, the water does more than flow: it reveals the material. As it glides over the sides, the veil brings out the Cortenys signature patina, applied before delivery, whose warm tones, from earth to amber and on to deep rust, give each piece reflections of its own. Crafted to order in Europe in 2 or 3 mm Corten steel, the fountain arrives ready to use, with its high-performance submersible pump and integrated LED lighting as standard. Offered as an option, a protective varnish fixes and enhances the Corten patina while making its care easier. Even varnished, Corten can still leave run-off on a pale floor: provide spacers or a bed of gravel at its foot.
02 / Elio
Ten sizes, from 500 to 1500 mm in diameter, suit Elio to every setting: a discreet water feature tucked into a terrace, or a monumental presence at the centre of a garden path. That is the whole ambition: to show Corten steel at its finest. Proportions and finishes have been revisited one by one, until this Corten water feature is no longer an accessory but a centrepiece, designed in France as an object of architecture. For those who recognise an exceptional piece at first glance, Elio asserts itself without a word, and for years to come.
