Raised aluminium planter
Thalie is an aluminium planter on legs, powder-coated, designed to lighten the mass of the cube. Four corner legs lift it off the ground and let it almost float: the volume remains clean and deep, but the silhouette becomes airy. All around, the planting spreads freely: generous blooms and foliage slipping over the edges, against perfectly flat sides. On a patio, beside a pool or on a terrace, it traces a graphic line without ever crowding the space. At midday, light runs across its aluminium faces; in the evening, its dark silhouette stands out against the fading light.
01 / Thalie
Built into the piece, its four legs give it a clean, contemporary stance. Shaped from 3 mm aluminium, the body is strong and built to resist corrosion; it then receives the Cortenys signature powder coating, followed by a protective varnish. The black RAL 9005 shown, at 30% gloss, is dense and deep, and the configurator opens up the other RAL colours. Light at this scale, the aluminium planter can be moved where a stone or concrete container would stay fixed. It comes in five sizes, from the compact cube to the large garden planter.

Designed in France, crafted in Europe and made to order, Thalie shows that high-end outdoor furniture can be light to the eye and faultless in its bearing. The planting sits enthroned on an airy plinth, made to last for many seasons. Every detail receives the care you would expect from a cabinetmaker: this is how a planter becomes a luxury object.
