Material and patina
The Cortenys signature patina. Applied to the Corten steel in the workshop: your piece arrives patinated, ready to take its place in your setting.
- Material
- 1.5 mm Corten steel
- Cortenys signature patina, no varnish
- Supplied with the Cortenys signature patina: every piece has shades of its own, which deepen over the seasons with very little upkeep.
- Protective varnish
- Applied in the workshop over the Cortenys signature patina, the varnish sets it and deepens its tones with a subtle satin finish. It greatly reduces rust run-off but does not rule it out: protect the floor (small feet, spacers or a drip tray).
Delivery
Made to order. Never held in stock. Every Corten steel piece enters production when your order is received, its signature patina brought to maturity by our artisans so it reaches you in perfect condition and in the depth of its most beautiful shades. Allow 6 to 12 weeks from order confirmation to delivery, which is complimentary. This creation time is the signature of the House.
Returns and warranty
Fourteen days to change your mind, return at our expense.
Every piece is guaranteed for two years against manufacturing and assembly defects.
Care
Our Corten steel pieces receive the Cortenys signature patina in the workshop, before delivery: they never reach you bare, left to weather at home. Indoors, a protective varnish is essential; even varnished, the steel can still mark a light or porous floor, so we recommend protecting it. For everything else, follow the care recommendations for your piece and its finish.
Secure payment. No bank details ever pass through the House.

The Cortenys signature patina
The character of Corten steel. From day one.
The Cortenys signature patina is applied in the workshop, before delivery, to every Corten steel piece. Where Corten usually takes months to acquire an uneven patina, your piece arrives already dressed in deep, controlled shades. Its appearance then evolves according to the chosen finish, exposure and local conditions. For care, follow the recommendations specific to your piece and its finish.

Cybèle
Corten steel planter
The Corten steel cube that frames the planting.
Cybèle is a Corten steel planter of deliberately pure design: a clean, deep cube whose warm patina turns the garden into a living painting. Everything plays on the contrast between the material, rich and organic, and the plants that spill from it: generous blooms, foliage trailing down the sides, where rust mingles with sienna and amber. On a lawn, at the heart of a border or along a terrace, this planter brings a full, warm and resolutely contemporary presence. Season after season the planting changes; the cube remains the fixed line of the picture.
01 / Cybèle
Where too many settle for quickly folded sheet metal, Cortenys has reworked everything: the proportions, the edges, the patina. Shaped from 1.5 mm Corten steel, robust and durable, Cybèle leaves the workshop with the Cortenys signature patina already applied, so no two planters are ever quite alike. As an option, the Cortenys protective varnish fixes the patina and greatly reduces rust run-off, without ruling it out: protect the floor (small feet, spacers or a drip tray) onto pale paving. Delivered ready for your plants, it comes in seven sizes, from the compact cube to the slender column, up to 1000 mm high.
02 / Cybèle
Every Cybèle is designed in France, crafted in Europe and made to order. More plinth than simple Corten pot, this cube has the bearing of an architect’s volume and will hold its place in the garden for many years. This is how Cortenys reinvents Corten steel, right down to the purest of forms.
