Care
Our Corten steel pieces receive the Cortenys signature patina in the workshop, before delivery: they never reach you bare, left to weather at home. Indoors, a protective varnish is essential; even varnished, the steel can still mark a light or porous floor, so we recommend protecting it. For everything else, follow the care recommendations for your piece and its finish.

Tall Corten steel lantern
Vesper, the Corten steel lantern that greets the evening.
Vesper is a tall outdoor lantern in Corten steel, slender as a column shaft, whose openwork crown depicts foliage stylized in straight lines. It bears the name of the evening star, and it is at that hour that it reveals its full stature: held high in the crown, the flame passes through the cutwork and spreads a warm, lace-like light that quivers at the slightest breath of air. By day, its vertical silhouette is enough to bring order to a flower bed or a path.
01 / Vesper
What Corten steel becomes in demanding hands can be read in the crown. Laser cut with great crispness, it breaks the flame into straight lines, in the manner of a steel mashrabiya. Made to order, Vesper is finished in the workshop with the Cortenys signature patina, which clothes the Corten in earth, amber and deep rust; each piece finds its own range of reflections, animated by the glow of the fire. It holds a candle as readily as a decorative fire, and is equally at home at the start of a path or at the edge of a terrace.

We deliver standard pieces, including Cortenys Editions, in 6 to 12 weeks after order confirmation. For bespoke pieces, we allow 8 to 13 weeks, with the schedule stated in the quotation.
