Etna, a fire table in Corten steel conceived by Cortenys, is defined entirely by its profile: a trapezoidal section, wider at the top than at the base, which gives the elongated block a light visual footing despite its length.

Care
Our Corten steel pieces receive the Cortenys signature patina in the workshop, before delivery: they never reach you bare, left to weather at home. Indoors, a protective varnish is essential; even varnished, the steel can still mark a light or porous floor, so we recommend protecting it. For everything else, follow the care recommendations for your piece and its finish.

The Cortenys signature patina is applied in the workshop, before delivery, to every Corten steel piece. Where Corten usually takes months to acquire an uneven patina, your piece arrives already dressed in deep, controlled shades. Its appearance then evolves according to the chosen finish, exposure and local conditions. For care, follow the recommendations specific to your piece and its finish.

Etna, a fire table in Corten steel conceived by Cortenys, is defined entirely by its profile: a trapezoidal section, wider at the top than at the base, which gives the elongated block a light visual footing despite its length. On the top, a long straight hearth runs almost the full length and casts its glow onto the sloping faces.

On the Corten steel, the Cortenys signature patina, already in place on delivery, plays across earth, amber and deep rust, and the flame sets these nuances glowing as soon as daylight fades. Placed in front of an outdoor sofa or at the edge of an open terrace, this long Corten steel table draws a boundary of light between the terrace and the landscape. Etna comes in three lengths, each made to order.

From afar, Etna is a line of embers; up close, a hull of Corten steel whose every face returns the glow of the fire. Angling a side without weighing down the line: a detail that goes unnoticed until you have seen it lacking elsewhere, and one Cortenys has made a rule.
