Rhéa is a bottomless planter in Corten steel, designed to surround the planting without ever enclosing it. A clean, deep cube, open at the base, it sits on the soil and lets the roots plunge straight into the ground.

- Supplied with the Cortenys signature patina: every piece has shades of its own, which deepen over the seasons with very little upkeep.
- Protective varnish
- Applied in the workshop over the Cortenys signature patina, the varnish sets it and deepens its tones with a subtle satin finish. It greatly reduces rust run-off but does not rule it out: protect the floor (small feet, spacers or a drip tray).
Delivery
Made to order. Never held in stock. Every Corten steel piece enters production when your order is received, its signature patina brought to maturity by our artisans so it reaches you in perfect condition and in the depth of its most beautiful shades. Allow 6 to 12 weeks from order confirmation to delivery, which is complimentary. This creation time is the signature of the House.
Returns and warranty

Every piece is guaranteed for two years against manufacturing and assembly defects.
Care
Our Corten steel pieces receive the Cortenys signature patina in the workshop, before delivery: they never reach you bare, left to weather at home. Indoors, a protective varnish is essential; even varnished, the steel can still mark a light or porous floor, so we recommend protecting it. For everything else, follow the care recommendations for your piece and its finish.

Rhéa
Bottomless Corten steel planter
A Corten steel frame open to the soil.
Rhéa is a bottomless planter in Corten steel, designed to surround the planting without ever enclosing it. A clean, deep cube, open at the base, it sits on the soil and lets the roots plunge straight into the ground. On a lawn, in a border or at the heart of the garden, it traces a crisp line around the planting, where rust melts into sienna and amber. The border gains an outline, the lawn a geometry.
01 / Rhéa
The open base is a gardener’s choice as much as an architect’s. Set on the soil, this bottomless Corten steel planter gives plants unlimited root space and natural drainage: the bed gains a frame without losing anything of the open ground. Its 2 mm Corten, dense and durable, arrives already patinated: the workshop applies the Cortenys signature patina, and each frame emerges with nuances of its own. The optional Cortenys protective varnish seals the patina and greatly reduces rust run-off, without ruling it out: beside a pale path, a gravel border at its foot is still wise. Rhéa comes in twenty-seven sizes, from the compact frame to the large format, up to 1400 mm.

We deliver standard pieces, including Cortenys Editions, in 6 to 12 weeks after order confirmation. For bespoke pieces, we allow 8 to 13 weeks, with the schedule stated in the quotation.
