The CORTENYS planter plays on the stark contrast between its smooth surfaces and the living mass that spills over it: undulating grasses, cascading foliage, and blooms spilling out from the top. In the low morning light, its edges cast a sharp shadow on the lawn; at dusk, its deep surface seems to absorb the evening. Crafted from 3 mm aluminum—sturdy, corrosion-resistant, and frost-resistant—it features a signature CORTENYS powder-coat finish sealed with a protective varnish in a rich, deep RAL 9005 Black (Glossy finish, 30% gloss level). At this scale, aluminum delivers a rare advantage: its inherent lightness, which makes the planter effortless to handle and reposition—whereas stone or concrete would remain fixed in place.
