Aquilon was the Romans’ north wind, cold, dry and of unsparing clarity, and this Corten steel decorative wall has kept its liveliness. Its surface is pierced with circles of every size, pressed close together like the eddies the wind stirs across a pool.

Material and patina
The Cortenys signature patina. Applied to the Corten steel in the workshop: your piece arrives patinated, ready to take its place in your setting.
- Material
- Corten steel
- Cortenys signature patina, no varnish
- Supplied with the Cortenys signature patina: every piece has shades of its own, which deepen over the seasons with very little upkeep.
- Protective varnish
- Applied in the workshop over the Cortenys signature patina, the varnish sets it and deepens its tones with a subtle satin finish. It greatly reduces rust run-off but does not rule it out: protect the floor (small feet, spacers or a drip tray).
Delivery
Made to order. Never held in stock. Every Corten steel piece enters production when your order is received, its signature patina brought to maturity by our artisans so it reaches you in perfect condition and in the depth of its most beautiful shades. Allow 6 to 12 weeks from order confirmation to delivery, which is complimentary. This creation time is the signature of the House.
Returns and warranty
Fourteen days to change your mind, return at our expense.
Every piece is guaranteed for two years against manufacturing and assembly defects.
Care
Our Corten steel pieces receive the Cortenys signature patina in the workshop, before delivery: they never reach you bare, left to weather at home. Indoors, a protective varnish is essential; even varnished, the steel can still mark a light or porous floor, so we recommend protecting it. For everything else, follow the care recommendations for your piece and its finish.
Secure payment. No bank details ever pass through the House.

The Cortenys signature patina
The character of Corten steel. From day one.
The Cortenys signature patina is applied in the workshop, before delivery, to every Corten steel piece. Where Corten usually takes months to acquire an uneven patina, your piece arrives already dressed in deep, controlled shades. Its appearance then evolves according to the chosen finish, exposure and local conditions. For care, follow the recommendations specific to your piece and its finish.

Aquilon
Corten steel screen
Aquilon, circles of Corten steel to share the space.
Aquilon was the Romans’ north wind, cold, dry and of unsparing clarity, and this Corten steel decorative wall has kept its liveliness. Its surface is pierced with circles of every size, pressed close together like the eddies the wind stirs across a pool. Set between terrace and garden or along a path, this decorative Corten screen divides without enclosing: through its openings the light passes, and the garden beyond can still be glimpsed.
01 / Aquilon
A design like this allows no approximation: every circle must fall exactly into place for the whole to hold together. Each panel is designed in France, then crafted to order by a partner manufacturer in Europe, with the rigour of a work of architecture. No piece leaves bare: before dispatch, the workshop applies the Cortenys signature patina, and the Corten steel arrives already glowing with warm tones of earth, amber and rust.
02 / Aquilon
Next to ordinary fencing, Aquilon proves that a boundary can belong to architecture: treated with such care, Corten steel becomes precise and warm at once. Under a pale winter sky or in high summer, its circles cut the light into discs, and its patina deepens. A Corten decorative wall for those who wish to define their garden without sacrificing any of its lightness.
