Material and patina
The Cortenys signature patina. Applied to the Corten steel in the workshop: your piece arrives patinated, ready to take its place in your setting.
- Material
- 2 mm Corten steel
- Cortenys signature patina, no varnish
- Supplied with the Cortenys signature patina: every piece has shades of its own, which deepen over the seasons with very little upkeep.
- Protective varnish
- Applied in the workshop over the Cortenys signature patina, the varnish sets it and deepens its tones with a subtle satin finish. It greatly reduces rust run-off but does not rule it out: protect the floor (small feet, spacers or a drip tray).
Delivery
Made to order. Never held in stock. Every Corten steel piece enters production when your order is received, its signature patina brought to maturity by our artisans so it reaches you in perfect condition and in the depth of its most beautiful shades. Allow 6 to 12 weeks from order confirmation to delivery, which is complimentary. This creation time is the signature of the House.
Returns and warranty
Fourteen days to change your mind, return at our expense.
Every piece is guaranteed for two years against manufacturing and assembly defects.
Care
Our Corten steel pieces receive the Cortenys signature patina in the workshop, before delivery: they never reach you bare, left to weather at home. Indoors, a protective varnish is essential; even varnished, the steel can still mark a light or porous floor, so we recommend protecting it. For everything else, follow the care recommendations for your piece and its finish.
Secure payment. No bank details ever pass through the House.

The Cortenys signature patina
The character of Corten steel. From day one.
The Cortenys signature patina is applied in the workshop, before delivery, to every Corten steel piece. Where Corten usually takes months to acquire an uneven patina, your piece arrives already dressed in deep, controlled shades. Its appearance then evolves according to the chosen finish, exposure and local conditions. For care, follow the recommendations specific to your piece and its finish.

Circulu
Corten steel log store window
The circle, to see firewood differently.
This round window in Corten steel opens a perfect circle onto the firewood. Set in front of a woodpile or built into a log store, it acts like a porthole. The eye is drawn in, the stack gathers within the opening and becomes a composition: the pale fibres of the wood on one side, the warm tones of the Corten patina on the other. Nothing stops the gaze, everything converges on the centre, and a simple stack takes on the strength of a painting.
01 / Circulu
A circle forgives nothing: it is the shape in which the eye instantly spots the slightest weakness. Cut from 2 mm Corten steel, a thickness that gives it strength and longevity, the frame has a generous diameter. Applied in the workshop, the signature patina spreads all the way around the ring, and each window gains nuances of its own. Wide open, the circle lets the woodpile breathe and helps it dry.
02 / Circulu
Designed in France, crafted in Europe and made to order, this round window is far more than a simple opening: it is a piece of architecture that gives firewood storage both geometry and intent. It is a quiet reminder that Corten steel furniture is judged by the precision of its curves, and that here every curve is deliberate. Corten, held to the discipline of a circle.
