Circulu round Corten window
Firewood becomes sculpture. This round window for the log store opens a perfect circle of Corten steel onto the stacked logs, a porthole through which the wood is framed and staged. The warm patina of the metal, with its reflections of rust, sienna and amber, converses with the pale fibres of the wood, and the stack, read through the circular aperture, becomes a still life of materials. Integrated into a log store or set against a reserve of wood, it composes a warm, contemporary presence.
Crafted from 2 mm Corten steel, sturdy and durable, it bears the CORTENYS signature patina, of a unique quality: each piece shows shades all its own. Its open form ventilates and helps the wood to dry. Offered in a single circular format, of generous diameter.
