The Cortenys signature patina is created in the workshop before delivery. The Corten steel parts are then varnished to seal the patina and protect floors and contact surfaces from rust transfer. Follow the varnish care instructions to maintain this protection.

Wall light
A square Corten steel frame whose interior lights up.
AURA is an indoor wall light designed by the House of Cortenys. A square frame with solid sides fixes to the wall, leaving its centre empty; the light, concealed inside the frame, illuminates the wall and draws a luminous square bordered by steel. The piece plays on void and solid, shadow and halo.
01 / Aura
Crafted in Corten steel and delivered with the signature Cortenys patina, in warm shades of earth, amber and deep rust, AURA develops on each piece reflections of its own. In a hotel corridor, on the wall of an entrance or above a console, it works like a painting of light. Three formats are offered.

Aura does not show its source: it gives the wall a square of light framed in steel, like a painting that switches on.
