Material and patina
The Cortenys signature patina. Applied to the Corten steel in the workshop: your piece arrives patinated, ready to take its place in your setting.
- Material
- Corten steel
- Cortenys signature patina, no varnish
- Supplied with the Cortenys signature patina: every piece has shades of its own, which deepen over the seasons with very little upkeep.
- Protective varnish
- Applied in the workshop over the Cortenys signature patina, the varnish sets it and deepens its tones with a subtle satin finish. It greatly reduces rust run-off but does not rule it out: protect the floor (small feet, spacers or a drip tray).
Delivery
Made to order. Never held in stock. Every Corten steel piece enters production when your order is received, its signature patina brought to maturity by our artisans so it reaches you in perfect condition and in the depth of its most beautiful shades. Allow 6 to 12 weeks from order confirmation to delivery, which is complimentary. This creation time is the signature of the House.
Returns and warranty
Fourteen days to change your mind, return at our expense.
Every piece is guaranteed for two years against manufacturing and assembly defects.
Care
Our Corten steel pieces receive the Cortenys signature patina in the workshop, before delivery: they never reach you bare, left to weather at home. Indoors, a protective varnish is essential; even varnished, the steel can still mark a light or porous floor, so we recommend protecting it. For everything else, follow the care recommendations for your piece and its finish.
Secure payment. No bank details ever pass through the House.

The Cortenys signature patina
The character of Corten steel. From day one.
The Cortenys signature patina is applied in the workshop, before delivery, to every Corten steel piece. Where Corten usually takes months to acquire an uneven patina, your piece arrives already dressed in deep, controlled shades. Its appearance then evolves according to the chosen finish, exposure and local conditions. For care, follow the recommendations specific to your piece and its finish.

Levant
Corten steel entrance wall
A threshold of Corten steel, turned towards the sunrise.
A garden begins at its threshold, and that is where Levant, a Corten steel decorative wall, finds its place. You discover it as you push open the gate: it welcomes, frames the entrance and sets the tone for all that follows. Its name refers to the east, where the day breaks and a wind rises, and everything about it speaks of beginnings. In the early hours, its graphic motif stands out with the precision of an ink drawing, before the patina brightens as the day goes on.
01 / Levant
Corten as it should always have been: that is the idea that guides Cortenys. Rather than bare steel that rust would mark at random for months, Cortenys delivers each of its decorative walls with the signature patina already applied in the workshop. Designed in France, crafted in Europe and made to order, Levant thus arrives adorned with rust and amber over a ground of earth: Corten steel whose nuances will deepen morning after morning.
02 / Levant
In front of a façade, along a path or as a partition between courtyard and garden, it brings a calm, assured presence. To keep the patina exactly as it was on delivery, a protective varnish is offered as an option; it greatly reduces run-off without ruling it out, so pale paving at the foot of the panel is still best protected. This is outdoor Corten steel furniture as Cortenys conceives it: exceptional pieces, and a first impression that never fades.
