Material and patina
The Cortenys signature patina. Applied to the Corten steel in the workshop: your piece arrives patinated, ready to take its place in your setting.
- Material
- Corten steel
- Cortenys signature patina, no varnish
- Supplied with the Cortenys signature patina: every piece has shades of its own, which deepen over the seasons with very little upkeep.
- Protective varnish
- Applied in the workshop over the Cortenys signature patina, the varnish sets it and deepens its tones with a subtle satin finish. It greatly reduces rust run-off but does not rule it out: protect the floor (small feet, spacers or a drip tray).
Delivery
Made to order. Never held in stock. Every Corten steel piece enters production when your order is received, its signature patina brought to maturity by our artisans so it reaches you in perfect condition and in the depth of its most beautiful shades. Allow 6 to 12 weeks from order confirmation to delivery, which is complimentary. This creation time is the signature of the House.
Returns and warranty
Fourteen days to change your mind, return at our expense.
Every piece is guaranteed for two years against manufacturing and assembly defects.
Care
Our Corten steel pieces receive the Cortenys signature patina in the workshop, before delivery: they never reach you bare, left to weather at home. Indoors, a protective varnish is essential; even varnished, the steel can still mark a light or porous floor, so we recommend protecting it. For everything else, follow the care recommendations for your piece and its finish.
Secure payment. No bank details ever pass through the House.

The Cortenys signature patina
The character of Corten steel. From day one.
The Cortenys signature patina is applied in the workshop, before delivery, to every Corten steel piece. Where Corten usually takes months to acquire an uneven patina, your piece arrives already dressed in deep, controlled shades. Its appearance then evolves according to the chosen finish, exposure and local conditions. For care, follow the recommendations specific to your piece and its finish.

Zéphyr
Corten steel garden wall
Zéphyr, Corten steel bamboo in a breath of spring.
Named after the west wind, the gentlest of the Greek winds and the herald of spring, Zéphyr is a Corten steel decorative wall of great delicacy. Across its surface, bamboo stems rise in openwork through the metal, and their leaves seem to quiver at the faintest breath. In a town garden, a courtyard or at the turn of a flower bed, it brings instant calm: a grove that asks for neither water nor pruning.
01 / Zéphyr
At Cortenys, Corten is worked with a gardener’s patience and a jeweller’s precision, and Zéphyr shows it down to the fineness of its leaves. Designed in France and crafted in Europe, it comes into being only once ordered, for you. It reaches you already clothed in earth, amber and rust, because the workshop applies the Cortenys signature patina before it leaves: no months of waiting, none of the irregularities of a patina left to chance.
02 / Zéphyr
Whether it borders a terrace, inhabits a garden or marks a division, Zéphyr brings a presence that soothes rather than imposes. The seasons deepen its patina, the Corten gains in nuance, and with time the whole piece takes on the quiet self-evidence of things well made. Corten steel seen differently: more sensitive, more precise and unmistakably high-end.
