Nereida
Designer outdoor fountain
Nereida is a two-tier aluminium cascade fountain, a structure of water that reads from top to bottom. At the summit, a wide sheet flows in a smooth, even veil into a first basin; the water then crosses a second threshold and falls into the lower basin in a stream that never pauses. The sound is full and enveloping, the kind that changes the whole atmosphere of a garden. By day, the two falls cast moving reflections across the terrace. Once night has fallen, the LED set into the upper sheet lights the top curtain of water and showcases the main fall: this is the luminous signature of Nereida.
01 / Nereida
Its structure is formed from aluminium 3 to 4 mm thick, robust, corrosion-resistant and rigid. The Cortenys powder coating, protected by a varnish, gives it a dense RAL 9005 Black at 30% gloss, designed to stand up to downpours and changes in temperature, season after season. The aluminium cascade is delivered complete and ready to run: high-performance submersible pump, closed-loop circuit and LED in the upper sheet, all included as standard.
02 / Nereida
A cascade is judged by its thresholds and by the way water crosses them. On Nereida, each level has been drawn so that the fall is as much to be watched as heard. Many stop at a basin that overflows; Cortenys orchestrates, in aluminium, a descent of water in two movements, conceived as high-end outdoor furniture rather than mere equipment. Designed in France, crafted in Europe and put into production once you order, this aluminium fountain is set to give rhythm to your garden for many years, with the quiet assurance that sets luxury furniture apart.
