Material and patina
The Cortenys signature patina. Applied to the Corten steel in the workshop: your piece arrives patinated, ready to take its place in your setting.
- Material
- Corten steel
- Cortenys signature patina, no varnish
- Supplied with the Cortenys signature patina: every piece has shades of its own, which deepen over the seasons with very little upkeep.
- Protective varnish
- Applied in the workshop over the Cortenys signature patina, the varnish sets it and deepens its tones with a subtle satin finish. It greatly reduces rust run-off but does not rule it out: protect the floor (small feet, spacers or a drip tray).
Delivery
Made to order. Never held in stock. Every Corten steel piece enters production when your order is received, its signature patina brought to maturity by our artisans so it reaches you in perfect condition and in the depth of its most beautiful shades. Allow 6 to 12 weeks from order confirmation to delivery, which is complimentary. This creation time is the signature of the House.
Returns and warranty
Fourteen days to change your mind, return at our expense.
Every piece is guaranteed for two years against manufacturing and assembly defects.
Care
Our Corten steel pieces receive the Cortenys signature patina in the workshop, before delivery: they never reach you bare, left to weather at home. Indoors, a protective varnish is essential; even varnished, the steel can still mark a light or porous floor, so we recommend protecting it. For everything else, follow the care recommendations for your piece and its finish.
Secure payment. No bank details ever pass through the House.

The Cortenys signature patina
The character of Corten steel. From day one.
The Cortenys signature patina is applied in the workshop, before delivery, to every Corten steel piece. Where Corten usually takes months to acquire an uneven patina, your piece arrives already dressed in deep, controlled shades. Its appearance then evolves according to the chosen finish, exposure and local conditions. For care, follow the recommendations specific to your piece and its finish.

Mistral
Corten steel garden screen
Dividing the garden, the better to compose it.
In Provence, gardens are composed as a series of rooms separated by tall cypress hedges; Mistral, a Corten steel decorative wall, takes up the same principle. The wind that gives it its name scours the sky and brings out every line of the landscape; set as a divider, this panel lends the garden the same clarity. As a Corten screen, it sets the terrace apart from a more secluded corner, frames a view and offers the eye a design where it would have found only a fence.
01 / Mistral
A standard usually reserved for fine cabinetmaking is applied here to Corten steel. Every detail has been rethought: the design, settled in France; the crafting, entrusted to a partner manufacturer in Europe and begun only to order; the Cortenys signature patina, applied in the workshop, then checked before it joins your garden. The Corten decorative panel thus arrives with its warm patina, between rust, amber and earth, and spares you the thankless stage of new, uneven oxidation.
02 / Mistral
Whether it encloses a reading corner, separates the ornamental garden from the kitchen garden or closes off a view that is too open, Mistral brings the same assurance everywhere. A varnish, available as an option, can stabilize the patina if you prefer it fixed; it greatly reduces run-off without ruling it out, so pale paving is still best protected. Conceived in this way, the Corten steel decorative wall is no longer an accessory: it is a piece of luxury garden furniture, designed to last and to be looked at.
