Pharos
PHAROS is a vertical fireplace designed by the House of Cortenys. Two uprights and a crossbar form an open rectangular portal set on a base plate; the eye passes through the frame, and the flame, housed in the lower third behind transparent panels, seems suspended in the void of the steel.
Crafted in Corten steel and delivered with the signature Cortenys patina, in warm shades of earth, amber and deep rust, PHAROS develops on each piece reflections of its own. Its slender silhouette works as a landmark: at the entrance to a terrace or at the edge of a pool, it signals where the evening is before one even arrives. Three heights are offered.
Pharos goes where a signal is wanted: a vertical frame, a flame at the centre, and the landscape passing through.
The videos show a staged setting. The bioethanol fuel and staging accessories are not supplied with the product.
