The CORTENYS rectangular planter—a long, low, clean-lined vessel resting directly on the ground, open at the bottom—frames a tall planting rather than containing it. Filled with bamboo, grasses, or shrubs, it creates a living screen—a natural privacy barrier that delineates a patio, runs alongside a pond, or separates two spaces. With no bottom, it allows the roots to extend into the open ground, ensuring deep and lasting root growth. In daylight, its smooth surfaces catch the light; at dusk, its dark silhouette highlights the greenery rising from within.
Crafted from 3 mm aluminum, this sturdy, corrosion- and frost-resistant planter showcases a signature CORTENYS powder-coated finish sealed with a protective varnish in a rich, deep RAL 9005 Black (Glossy finish, 30% gloss level). Its deliberate open-bottom design, when set directly on the ground, offers plants boundless root space and pure natural drainage—making it ideal for bamboo and structuring specimens. Aluminum’s inherent lightness, comparable to steel in the same dimensions, ensures effortless handling and precise positioning. Supplied unpainted and ready to embrace your plantings, it is available in three elegant lengths, extending up to two meters.
