Round aluminium basin
This round aluminium water basin, powder-coated in black, draws a continuous line on the ground, with no angle and no break, around calm water that barely stirs. The eye glides along its wall, then comes to rest on the reflection: a patch of sky, a passing cloud, the shadow of a branch. Where the rectangle brings order, the circle gathers; it gives the garden a centre of gravity, a place you keep returning to.

The House designed it in France and has it crafted in Europe, to order, in 4 mm thick aluminium that resists corrosion. The Cortenys powder coating, sealed by a protective varnish, dresses it in RAL 9005 Black at 30% gloss: the curve takes on the depth of lacquer. A form this pure forgives nothing: no uneven shade, no imprecise joint could hide there. That is precisely where the standards of a luxury furniture house are measured, and what aluminium becomes in its hands.

The aluminium basin is deliberately delivered bare, with no pump or lighting, in four diameters, from 1000 to 2500 mm. Left as it is, this round water trough forms a circular reflecting pool, a point of calm at the centre of a courtyard or terrace. Should you wish to bring the surface to life, it can take a pump and a water feature chosen for your project. Either way, this piece of high-end outdoor furniture settles into the landscape for many years, with the quiet assurance of things well made.
