- Supplied with the Cortenys signature patina: every piece has shades of its own, which deepen over the seasons with very little upkeep.
- Protective varnish
- Applied in the workshop over the Cortenys signature patina, the varnish sets it and deepens its tones with a subtle satin finish. It greatly reduces rust run-off but does not rule it out: protect the floor (small feet, spacers or a drip tray).
Delivery
Made to order. Never held in stock. Every Corten steel piece enters production when your order is received, its signature patina brought to maturity by our artisans so it reaches you in perfect condition and in the depth of its most beautiful shades. Allow 6 to 12 weeks from order confirmation to delivery, which is complimentary. This creation time is the signature of the House.
Returns and warranty

Every piece is guaranteed for two years against manufacturing and assembly defects.
Care
Our Corten steel pieces receive the Cortenys signature patina in the workshop, before delivery: they never reach you bare, left to weather at home. Indoors, a protective varnish is essential; even varnished, the steel can still mark a light or porous floor, so we recommend protecting it. For everything else, follow the care recommendations for your piece and its finish.

Where Corten usually takes months to acquire an uneven patina, your piece arrives already dressed in deep, controlled shades. A line of planting, written in Corten steel.
This rectangular Corten steel planter draws a long, low, precise line through the garden, warmed by a patina of rust, sienna and amber. Planted with bamboo, grasses or shrubs, it becomes a natural screen: it edges a terrace, accompanies a pond, divides two spaces without walling them off. Its depth gives roots a comfortable volume, while its silhouette remains the picture of restraint. In low light the metal reveals its grain; as evening falls, its deep tone holds the scene.

At 1.5 mm, its profile is one of great finesse, and this is where craftsmanship shows: a thin sheet of Corten steel forgives no approximation, whether in the bending or in the welding. Before it leaves the workshop, each planter receives the Cortenys signature patina, and with it a range of shades that belongs to it alone. Its elongated form suits structural planting, in rows as well as in massed borders. The optional Cortenys protective varnish stabilises the colour and greatly reduces the risk of rust transfer, without ruling it out: on pale paving, set the planter on spacers or small feet.

Offered in six sizes, the longest reaching 2000 mm, this Corten planter is designed in France and crafted to order in Europe. Another way of seeing the Corten steel planter: less a container than a line of green architecture, conceived to structure your outdoor space through the seasons. We deliver standard pieces, including Cortenys Editions, in 6 to 12 weeks after order confirmation. For bespoke pieces, we allow 8 to 13 weeks, with the schedule stated in the quotation.
