This rectangular aluminium water basin, powder-coated in black, has no need for jets or cascades. It holds a calm, almost motionless sheet of water within a volume of crisp edges, and lets the clouds, the foliage and the daylight settle on its surface. On a stone terrace or at the heart of a garden, this aluminium basin brings a quietness you notice before you can explain it: the quietness of a piece of high-end outdoor furniture with nothing left to prove.
01 / Rectangular water basin
Everything lies in the execution. Designed in France and crafted in Europe to order, the basin is made from 4 mm aluminium, robust and corrosion-resistant, then finished with the Cortenys powder coating and sealed beneath a protective varnish. The RAL 9005 Black, at 30% gloss, gives it a dense, almost liquid depth that seems to extend the surface of the water. Where so many water troughs are content merely to function, the House delivers a piece of architecture, deliberately bare, with no pump or lighting, so that it can be composed exactly around your project. Six sizes, from 1250 × 800 to 3000 × 2000 mm, set its scale.
02 / Rectangular water basin
Set on its own, it becomes a reflecting pool, the calm focal point of a terrace or patio. It can also serve as the receiving basin for a Cortenys water feature such as Léandre or Célestin: simply fit it with the pump of your choice, and its generous depth does the rest. Either way, this rectangular aluminium water basin reflects a particular idea of luxury furniture: few gestures, uncompromising execution and a presence built to last for years to come.
