A clean, deep structure, placed directly on the ground, that outlines a perfect square of greenery on the lawn or soil. The CORTENYS bottomless planter frames the planting rather than containing it: open at the bottom, it allows the roots to grow directly into the soil. Whether on a manicured lawn, within a vibrant border, or at the heart of a contemporary rock garden, it casts a clean geometric silhouette—a dark, graphic line—around thriving foliage. In full sunlight, its smooth surfaces shimmer with captured light; at dusk, its substantial form adds dramatic depth to the scene.
Crafted from 3 mm aluminum—sturdy and resistant to both corrosion and freezing—it features a signature CORTENYS powder-coat finish sealed with a protective varnish in a rich, deep RAL 9005 Black (Glossy finish, 30% gloss index). Its open-bottom design is intentional: plants take root in the natural soil, ensuring ideal drainage and deep growth—where a closed planter would limit root volume. Placed directly on the ground or lawn, it defines a flower bed, border, or planting area with perfect lines. The lightweight aluminum makes it easy to handle and reposition.
