The Cortenys signature patina is created in the workshop before delivery. The Corten steel parts are then varnished to seal the patina and protect floors and contact surfaces from rust transfer. Follow the varnish care instructions to maintain this protection.

Two solid wood beams carried by Corten steel frames.
SILAS is a coffee table designed by the House of Cortenys. Two thick solid wood beams, laid side by side, form the top; at each end, an open Corten steel frame carries and joins them, letting the wood breathe and the floor show. The piece plays on two living materials: the grain of the wood and the patina of the steel.
01 / Silas
The frames are crafted in Corten steel and delivered with the signature Cortenys patina, in warm shades of earth, amber and deep rust: each piece develops reflections of its own, echoing the brown tones of the wood. Three lengths are offered.

Facing a bay window, on a thick rug or in a mountain living room, Silas brings the warmth of a joiner's workshop.
