Firewood becomes sculpture. This hexagonal log shelter holds the logs within a faceted Corten steel structure; an open hexagon rests on the ground like a honeycomb cell. The warm patina of the metal, with its rust, sienna, and amber hues, complements the light grain of the wood, and the stack, framed by the hexagonal opening, reads like a composition of materials.
