- Protective varnish
- Applied in the workshop over the Cortenys signature patina, the varnish sets it and deepens its tones with a subtle satin finish. It greatly reduces rust run-off but does not rule it out: protect the floor (small feet, spacers or a drip tray).

Every Corten steel piece enters production when your order is received, its signature patina brought to maturity by our artisans so it reaches you in perfect condition and in the depth of its most beautiful shades. Allow 6 to 12 weeks from order confirmation to delivery, which is complimentary. This creation time is the signature of the House.

Care
Our Corten steel pieces receive the Cortenys signature patina in the workshop, before delivery: they never reach you bare, left to weather at home. Indoors, a protective varnish is essential; even varnished, the steel can still mark a light or porous floor, so we recommend protecting it. For everything else, follow the care recommendations for your piece and its finish.

Corten steel cascade
Two falls of water over the patina of Corten steel.
A two-tier Corten steel cascade fountain, Nereida is a sculpture of water that descends in two stages. At the very top, a wide sheet unfolds in a smooth, even curtain and fills the first basin; the water then steps over a second threshold to reach the lower basin in a continuous flow. Its voice, full and enveloping, is enough to transform the atmosphere of an entire garden. In sunlight, the two sheets throw shifting glints across the rust and amber tones of the Corten; at twilight, the LED housed in the upper sheet illuminates the main fall, which becomes the luminous high point of the piece.
01 / Nereida
Nereida shows what Corten steel becomes when every detail is considered. Its Cortenys signature patina, applied in the workshop, is in place from the day of delivery: warm shades of earth and amber, shot through with deep rust, which give every cascade a face of its own. Robust and built to weather the seasons in the garden, the fountain arrives complete: its high-performance submersible pump, its closed-loop circuit and the LED lighting nestled in the upper sheet are all included as standard. For those who wish to fix the patina and simplify its care, a protective varnish can complete the piece as an option. It greatly reduces rust run-off without ruling it out: on a pale terrace, set the fountain on spacers or gravel.
