- Supplied with the Cortenys signature patina: every piece has shades of its own, which deepen over the seasons with very little upkeep.
- Protective varnish
- Applied in the workshop over the Cortenys signature patina, the varnish sets it and deepens its tones with a subtle satin finish. It greatly reduces rust run-off but does not rule it out: protect the floor (small feet, spacers or a drip tray).

Made to order. Never held in stock. Every Corten steel piece enters production when your order is received, its signature patina brought to maturity by our artisans so it reaches you in perfect condition and in the depth of its most beautiful shades. Allow 6 to 12 weeks from order confirmation to delivery, which is complimentary. This creation time is the signature of the House.

Every piece is guaranteed for two years against manufacturing and assembly defects.
Care
Our Corten steel pieces receive the Cortenys signature patina in the workshop, before delivery: they never reach you bare, left to weather at home. Indoors, a protective varnish is essential; even varnished, the steel can still mark a light or porous floor, so we recommend protecting it. For everything else, follow the care recommendations for your piece and its finish.

Where Corten usually takes months to acquire an uneven patina, your piece arrives already dressed in deep, controlled shades. A whole winter, seen through a window.
This Corten steel log store holds the logs in a deep volume with taut lines, pierced at the front by a rectangular window of great purity. Behind this framing, the woodpile becomes a landscape: the pale wood of the logs stands out against the warm tones of the Corten, like a canvas in its frame. Set against a wall, it keeps the firewood close to the house, with a resolutely contemporary look.

The whole effect rests on one proportion, that of the window to the volume, and Cortenys weighed it with the attention an architect gives to an opening in a façade. Made to order from 2 mm Corten steel, the volume then receives its signature patina in the workshop, and no piece leaves in exactly the same shade. Air circulates through the opening, and the wood dries quietly while it waits for winter.
02 / Gemitus
Offered in two sizes, one compact and one elongated, this log store finds its place against a short wall or along a whole façade, without its framing losing any of its precision. Designed in France and crafted in Europe, it expresses a certain idea of Corten steel: a material to be composed, just like light. Storing firewood stops being a chore and becomes a design statement.

We deliver standard pieces, including Cortenys Editions, in 6 to 12 weeks after order confirmation. For bespoke pieces, we allow 8 to 13 weeks, with the schedule stated in the quotation.
