The Cortenys signature patina is created in the workshop before delivery. The Corten steel parts are then varnished to seal the patina and protect floors and contact surfaces from rust transfer. Follow the varnish care instructions to maintain this protection.

Armchair
An enveloping armchair in ecru bouclé, set on a Corten steel base.
HESTIA is an indoor armchair designed by the House of Cortenys. An enveloping backrest, extended by solid armrests, surrounds a thick seat cushion dressed in ecru bouclé. The whole rests on a low Corten steel base with rounded corners, carried on short feet; its mass anchors the armchair to the floor and contrasts with the whiteness of the upholstery.
01 / Hestia
The base is crafted in Corten steel and delivered with the signature Cortenys patina, in warm shades of earth, amber and deep rust: each piece develops reflections of its own. Against this mineral material, the bouclé brings the soft, luminous texture of a winter lounge. Three sizes are offered.
02 / Hestia
Hestia sits alone by a window, in pairs around a Dorian or Silas coffee table, or in series in a reception lounge: an armchair one settles into to stay.
