The Cortenys signature patina is created in the workshop before delivery. The Corten steel parts are then varnished to seal the patina and protect floors and contact surfaces from rust transfer. Follow the varnish care instructions to maintain this protection.

Chair
A cantilever chair: upholstered seat and back on a Corten steel blade base.
EURYDICE is a chair designed by the House of Cortenys to accompany the Orphée table. A flat steel blade rises from the floor in an open loop, climbs in a single stroke behind the seat and continues as the backrest upright: the seat seems carried in cantilever, with no rear leg. The seat cushion and the backrest, upholstered and covered, stand out against the deep colour of the steel.
01 / Eurydice
The base is crafted in Corten steel and delivered with the signature Cortenys patina, in warm shades of earth, amber and deep rust: each piece develops reflections of its own. Two upholstery colours, black or white, and three widths are offered, to compose a matching or contrasting table setting.
02 / Eurydice
Around Orphée, six black Eurydice chairs compose a dark, clean dining room; in white, they brighten the stone.
