Ignis
IGNIS is a wall fireplace designed by the House of Cortenys. A long, shallow rectangular trough fixes to the wall and opens at the top; the line of fire unfolds along its full length and lights the wall from bottom to top, turning a stone facade or a boundary wall into a glowing backdrop.
Crafted in Corten steel and delivered with the signature Cortenys patina, in warm shades of earth, amber and deep rust, IGNIS develops on each piece reflections of its own. With no footprint on the ground, it frees the terrace and places the fire at the height of the seating. Three lengths are offered.
Hung on the wall, Ignis makes the wall itself the setting of the fire and gives the terrace back its whole surface.
The videos show a staged setting. The bioethanol fuel and staging accessories are not supplied with the product.
