Pyrros is a fire table in Corten steel, one of the Cortenys Creations. A thick rectangular top with crisp edges rests on two panel legs set back beneath it, so that the slab seems to float above a void.

Care
Our Corten steel pieces receive the Cortenys signature patina in the workshop, before delivery: they never reach you bare, left to weather at home. Indoors, a protective varnish is essential; even varnished, the steel can still mark a light or porous floor, so we recommend protecting it. For everything else, follow the care recommendations for your piece and its finish.

The Cortenys signature patina is applied in the workshop, before delivery, to every Corten steel piece. Where Corten usually takes months to acquire an uneven patina, your piece arrives already dressed in deep, controlled shades. Its appearance then evolves according to the chosen finish, exposure and local conditions. For care, follow the recommendations specific to your piece and its finish.

Corten steel fire table
A top of Corten steel that seems to float above the void.
Pyrros is a fire table in Corten steel, one of the Cortenys Creations. A thick rectangular top with crisp edges rests on two panel legs set back beneath it, so that the slab seems to float above a void. At its centre, a long slot holds a line of fire that runs along most of its length; on either side, the top stays free and extends the hearth with a serving surface.

The Cortenys signature patina, already applied on delivery, spreads earth, amber and deep rust across the Corten steel slab, answering the colour of the flames; from one table to the next, the pattern of nuances changes. By day, the table structures the terrace with its mass; by night, the line of fire animates it with a low, continuous light around which the seating gathers. Three lengths are offered, from an intimate terrace to a large outdoor lounge.
02 / Pyrros
A slab, two supports and a line of fire: Pyrros reduces the fire table to its essence and gives the terrace its fixed point. Making so thick a top of Corten steel look light calls for a goldsmith’s rigour: everything is decided in what cannot be seen, and it is there that Corten steel becomes a material worthy of fine craftsmanship.
The videos show a styled setting. The bioethanol and styling accessories are not included with the product.
